Doug and Kathy Sprous are thrilled to announce plans to open this summer in Lenoir City. Welcome home to the return of your childhood ice cream fountain. This is where lasting memories are made. The kind that brought Doug, a native East Tennessean and summertime Kentuckian, back to Lenoir City in 2023. Growing up he spent summers working for his Papaw at the Farmers Supply in Paintsville, Kentucky. It didn’t hurt that Dairy Cheer was across the street and Malcolm’s Dairy Bar downtown was a go-to lunch spot. Hager’s Drug served up real cherry cokes. More than fringe benefits these were lasting impressions. The kind of places that fostered a big decision, celebrated wins, and mended a fence or two. The local high school pennants hung on the walls, and you’ll soon see those at Kyle’s. Who’s Kyle then? Well, he's one of our children, and we did apologize to the others, with a promise of future naming rights to come.
